ziggyspookydust: bowies-union-jack-coat: This is like the ONLY pic of Bowie and Angie that I don’t mind…. there is something about the pose that just…gah! I like this one because I like Angie’s hair, and I think the white cut of David’s suit is very flattering on his figure. As for the pose, he’s taking one that’s much more masculine than how he normally poses with Angie, and much closer— he’s usually posed with her like one would their close business friend, or partner, but not necessarily their wife. The way the photos were developed, too, gives a sharp effect to the browbone that offsets the way your attention normally focuses on Angie’s lack of eyebrows. It flatters her thin face.  The fact is, I think they would have been really good friends if they hadn’t gotten married. They’re both very curious, driven people, and both of them have things that complement one another. The sad reality is that this picture is very posed and staged, but both David and Angie deserved a relationship where it could have been candid.
